Bodegas Vega de Yuco collaborates with students of the Cycle Superior of the PIFC Viticulture Zonzamas to promote practical knowledge on viticulture and the process of making wine
Bodegas Vega de Yuco and the Integrated Vocational Training Center (CIFP) of Zonzamas will bring practical knowledge about the winemaking process and island viticulture to the classroom thanks to a collaboration agreement through which the students of the Higher Cycle of Viticulture which is taught in this educational center, will incorporate complementary training practical activities in its programming with the aim of reinforcing the theoretical learning they acquire in class.
Thanks to this collaboration, included within the corporate social responsibility actions and the support program for training and education that Bodegas Vega de Yuco has been carrying out for years, in the new academic year of this higher cycle the theme will be addressed, among others, viticulture, the very particular farming system of the island and the characteristics of this protected landscape.
Through resources and audiovisual material, translated into several languages, visits to the winery and its vineyards, among other collaborative actions, the students will have direct contact with the countryside, the landscape and the winemaking processes of Lanzarote through this winery of the island, which will contribute to enriching their training, better assimilating the knowledge learned in a practical, dynamic and more fun and real way for students.
