• This coming Saturday and Sunday, November 26 and 27, we will be present at the Gastronomic Festival of the Volcanic Kitchens of Saborea Lanzarote. The event will be held at the Varadero in Puerto del Carmen.










Bodegas Vega de Yuco and the , daughter of the aboriginal queen of Lanzarote Fayna who also gives her name to the new brut nature of the winery. These two stories will also pair with rosé will jointly attend the great annual event of Canarian gastronomy on the island of Lanzarote with three tapas, prepared by the restaurant's Executive Chef Nauzet Santana Barretto, and various proposals for wine pairing.
The Malvasía Volcánica wine, a dry white from Vega de Yuco, is the winery's proposal to pair the tapa of 'coastal noodles’, typical of this fishing area of La Tiñosa, ‘with foam and sea urchin sauce’. Tapa that the chef will present at this event. The second pairing proposal will be with the Volcanic Duck Essence Yaiza which will accompany theOctopus takoyaki with panko’, fusion and Japanese reminiscence with a 100% Canarian product. The two most awarded wines from this winery have been the references selected to pair these tapas.
For dessert, Santana will recreate a Catalan cream with egg yolk sweet potato from Jable de Lanzarote. As a pairing for this local sweet, a sweet muscatel from Vega de Yuco.
These tapas and wines can be tasted in the stand 17-16 of the Festival (tent closest to the Port).
Synesthetic Tasting Experience- Volcanic Kitchens Festival
As a novelty, Bodegas Vega de Yuco will present in this space the experience of Synesthetic Tasting 'Princesa Fayna Wine Music'. At the stand "Vega de Yuco Experiences" (exhibitor nº15) those interested will be able to carry out this sensory and musical tasting, pioneer in the Canary Islands, with the elegant and modern Brut Nature Princesa Fayna. Sparkling grape wine 100% Diego de Lanzarote, with more than 3 years of aging and traditional production method.
The experience is presented in the form of a ten-minute musical work whose melody evolves and guides the rhythm and sensations experienced during the blind tasting. The music has been created exclusively for this Brut Nature. The experience is produced with state-of-the-art sound technology that produces a three-dimensional effect of 360º sound. The musical work creates a very special sound-emotional environment that in turn facilitates an incredible tasting experience.
To finish it will be paired with the lid of 'coastal black noodles with foam and urchin sauce’ presented for the festival by the restaurant.
The experience can be enjoyed Saturday, November 26, at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and the Sunday, November 27, at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. hours, in the Vega de Yuco Experience space.
