Frimancha Canarias presented its new and highly valued product in society. ‘Silencio de Jabugo’, a 100% Iberico acorn-fed ham D.O.P. Jabugo, from the 2019 vintage.
The presentation took place in Bodegas Vega de Yuco – Finca Testeina and was attended by the first vice-president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Marcos Bergaz, the advisers of Commerce and Waste of the first insular institution, as well as the deputy mayor of San Bartolomé, Raúl de León. The event was also attended by nearly a hundred guests, including numerous restaurateurs and hoteliers from the island, among others.
The CEO of Frimancha Canary Islands, Juan Pedro Martín, welcomed the excellent reception that "Silencio de Jabugo" has had among those who have tried it and highlighted that "This new vintage of 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham, campaign 2019, demonstrates the commitment of this company to offer the best products on the market, always guaranteeing the best quality.”.
The person in charge of cured meats from Frimancha Canarias, Anibal Falcón, the only Canarian winner of the contest for the best ham cutter in Spain, and Marcos López, master cutter, participated in the event, who turned the tasting into a visual spectacle and an exquisite pleasure for all the senses.
As a pairing for the "Silencio de Jabugo", Frimancha Canarias selected the Brut Nature “Princesa Fayna”, the first sparkling wine from Bodegas Vega de Yuco, which was recently presented to coincide with the XXV Anniversary from the warehouse. It is a wine made with Diego grapes by the traditional method, aged for 30 months.
