Bodegas Vega de Yuco collaborates once again with the La Destiladera-Lanzarote Revelado project organized by the cultural association from September 20 to 30 Tenique Cultural.
Destiladera aims to recover old films filmed in Lanzarote in non-professional formats such as 8mm or Super-8. In this current edition, the association has focused the theme of the project on old films that deal with emigration on the island of Lanzarote. With this valuable archive material, the filmmaker Dailo Barco has edited a unique piece that will be projected in six municipalities on the island. In each of the sessions, attendees will give voice to the projected images through their own experiences and memories about the places and events that appear on the screen.
The screenings began last Wednesday, September 20, and will extend to different municipalities on the island until next Saturday, September 30. At the end of them, attendees will be able to enjoy a participatory reflection discussion and a pleasant plastering. Admission is free until capacity is reached.

Currently, cinema and audiovisual culture structure a large part of the programming organized by this group, which takes place throughout the year with projects such as Siembra. Cinema, youth, Lanzarote, summer traveling cinema, Destiladera. Lanzarote revealed and, of special relevance for its international projection, the Lanzarote Film Festival.
