The Volcanic Ducks'essence Yaiza’ y ‘Vega de Yuco’ from the 2022 vintage have been awarded, once again, with a Bronze Medal in the twentieth edition of the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA).
Both wines from Bodegas Vega de Yuco revalidate, for the third consecutive year, medals in these international awards that after 20 years of life have established themselves as one of the most important wine competitions on the international wine scene.
In this 2023 edition, nearly 240 experts, Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers, have evaluated nearly 18,200 wines from 57 different countries.
For Bodegas Vega de Yuco, these recognitions are once again a "I support the work carried out not only by the great team of winery professionals, but also by the more than 250 viticulturists who have worked with our winery for more than two decades. To them, to their great work in the vineyard of the impossible, all our recognition and applause”.
The winery also congratulates the rest of the award-winning wineries, as well as the CRDO Vinos de Lanzarote, wishing the island a “good and successful new harvest” in this next vintage that will begin in just over a month.
