Gara Red Wine

Princesa Gara red wine is the wine with which we wanted to discover the island of Lanzarote as a land of great red wines.

It is made from grapes grown on plots surrounding the winery, one of the few vineyard slopes to be found on Lanzarote. The soil is stony and shallow, producing very low yields but exceptional quality.

After fermentation, it is aged for six months in oak barrels from the finest French cooperages.

Colour
Dense, with a deep layer and violet edges.

Nose
This is a wine with high aromatic intensity. Violets take centre stage on the nose, complemented by notes of toffee and coffee.

Palate
Powerful on the palate, with sweet tannins that linger and roasted notes characteristic of its ageing in wood.

A red wine that is silky, structured and full of contrasts. Ready to drink now, but will be even better after some time in the bottle, providing great satisfaction.
