Bodegas Vega de Yuco is finalizing the elaboration of what will be its new wine production project. A distillate of traditional production that has been baptized with the name of 'Althos', supreme god of aboriginal origin, named like this on the islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. This Lanzarote wine product will go on the market with a small production of 300 bottles.
Althos has been made in the traditional way, aging in French oak barrels. A jewel and symbolic edition with which the winery intends to recall the origins of Lanzarote's wine production and the spirits industry, generated in the 18th century around Arrecife, the current capital of Lanzarote.
In order to make the history and wine culture of the island known to the younger generations, as well as to support talent, creativity and graphic and advertising art, Bodegas Vega de Yuco announces this design competition for the creation of the image of what will be his first distillate.
