D’Yuco Ancestral, the new sparkling wine from Bodegas Vega de Yuco, brings together all these characteristics and particularities to become a very special new sparkling wine from the DO Lanzarote.
It goes on the market -in this month of June- with a unique edition of 2,000 units. The winery plans to distribute them exclusively in the canarian market, mainly on the island of Lanzarote.
Of strains of List Blanco, pre-phylloxera, native and centenary. Its grapes are cultivated free-range, adapted to different growing areas and altitudes of Lanzarote.
It is a wineovial, fresh, elegant and with fine bubbles. A natural, original and unfiltered sparkling wine. Its vinification is carried out by the Ancestral method, characterized by being carried out in a single fermentation, with minimal impact and intervention in the winery. It is aged in the bottle on its fine lees (with a minimum of 9 months).
It is the result of the experience and good work of this winery that once again wants highlight the legacy and rich varietal heritage of the island of Lanzarote.
D’Yuco discovers the Listán Blanco of Lanzarote
Elegance, subtlety and originality is the most predominant characteristic in the sparkling wine productions of Bodegas Vega de Yuco. In this Listán Blanco sparkling wine you can see the cloudy, unfiltered appearance, characteristic of ancient natural wines. Pale yellow in color.
In nose We find good aromatic intensity, marked at all times by fresh and clean notes of fresh white fruit, such as apple or pear, on a broad background of lychee and ripe loquat.
In boca, we enjoy a sweet entry, with well-integrated, soft and friendly acid persistence, as well as a fine bubble, very pleasant and elegant, which gives it a timid volume.
Pairing
It is a perfect wine for all types of cold starters and tapas. Pairs very well with dishes such as shrimp cocktails, carpaccio, pâtés, salads or sushi. Ideal to also accompany fish and seafood, such as tatakis, grilled octopus, oysters and even all types of vegetables, smoked meats and cheeses, all the way to desserts.
With a moderate alcoholic level of 12%, a service temperature of 6 a 8º.
