Bodegas Vega de Yuco congratulates the alumni and former teachers for the initiative, as well as the Reef CEIP for its 50th Anniversary.
The alumni themselves have organized the catering, transportation and everything that will happen during the event this coming Saturday, November 11.
The organization will donate uneaten food to the non-profit association 'Calor y Café'.
About 10 different generations of CEIP Adolphus Topham they will meet this Saturday, November 11, starting at 6:30 p.m., at Bodegas Vega de Yuco – Finca Testeina, to celebrate the first meeting of alumni and former teachers commemorating the first decade of the School. The meeting will take place within the framework of the 50th Anniversary of this educational center in Arrecife.
So "altruistic and with a lot of enthusiasm and enthusiasm”, have been the alumni themselves, Federico Betancort, Antonio Morales and Miriam Fernández Lasso, those who have been in charge of the entire organization (catering, entertainment, transportation and the rest of the services that will be offered during the event). Antonio Morales, one of the promoters of the event, explains that “It is the first of its kind and a social gathering in Lanzarote that will bring together around 250 people between the ages of 40 and 60, born between 1961 and 1983 and who were part, at some point in their lives, of the family of the Adolfo Topham.” The first academic year of this nursery and primary school was 1972/1973.
For this special meeting and non-profit event, the Lanzarote winery Vega de Yuco wanted to collaborate with the transfer of the Finca Testeina space, located in the heart of La Geria.
The management and management of the winery congratulate all the participants for the initiative, and specifically recognize the work and effort carried out by Betancort, Morales and Fernández Lasso to make this reunion possible. At the same time, they take advantage of the occasion to also convey their congratulations to CEIP Adolfo Topham for its 50th anniversary and its important role in the life and educational community of Lanzarote.
Solidarity initiative
From Bodegas Vega de Yuco they also applaud the initiative of the organizers and all the participants to deliver to the Association 'Heat and Coffee’ part of the dinner-cocktail that is not consumed during the event.
