Red wines

The red wines de Bodegas Vega de Yuco are made with the best grapes from Listán Negro in Lanzarote. A Pre-phylloxera variety of Canarian wines, exclusive to our island, planted bare foot with the traditional cultivation method and, due to the conditions and insular orography, without any type of possible mechanization. The Listán Negro arrives at our winery from hundred-year-old vineyards, pampered by the island's viticulturists, lovers of the land and good work.

Wines that sleep -in almost all cases- covered by the best French oak wood. As a whole they are original wines, balanced, varietal and full of contrasts and nuances, in some lines, typical of their passage through barrel. At the same time, they are silky, structured and friendly wines that facilitate their passage in the mouth. Atlantic wines impregnated by the volcanic essence of the Canary Islands. They discover Lanzarote´s stunning volcanic landscape on the Lomo de Tese mountainside as a land of greats too red wines, fostered by the constant improvement of the cultivation techniques of the Listán Negro and innovative methods, incorporated in its production and storage process, to achieve red wines of extraordinary quality.
